Convention Bureau Italia, MICE takes flight with Air Dolomiti
The work of the Convention Bureau Italia to promote the MICE sector in our Country goes on. The latest, important move is the recently signed agreement with Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of the Lufthansa Group. In view of this partnership, the members of the destinations served by the airline will have the possibility of hosting educationals by taking advantage of important subsidies.
Convention Bureau Italia will in fact make available the brand and its data bank and Air Dolomiti, apart from collaborating in the selection and the invitation of buyers, it will make available the flight towards the chosen destination. The initiative refers particularly to the German market: Air Dolomiti operates from the main Italian airports – Verona, Venezia, Florence, Bari, Bologna and Turin – to and from Germany with about 440 weekly flights at the Munich hub. Moreover, to spread the initiative to all Italian operators, CBI will organise a workshop during each educational. The event will be open to the interested Italian suppliers, with convenient rates for the partners of the network and for operators with offices in the destinations in which Air Dolomiti operates.
“It is well known how the promotion of the destination is, first of all, teamwork and this is also the reason why we are very satisfied of this agreement with Air Dolomiti. We thought it was fundamental to introduce from this year a new service for our partners that would be always in line with our role of promoters of the destination and facilitators in the relation between demand and offer. Even during the course of the Retreat that we organised it was evident how many Italian destinations are interested in marketing and promotional activities directly on the territory”, declared Tobia Salvadori, Sales & Marketing Manager of the Convention Bureau Italia.
