DeltaPo Family Destination Outlet: between Venice and Ravenna is found the first retailtainment
A complex capable of uniting tourism, culture, nature and shopping. Practically a destination within a destination, promising to be a truly interesting location even for the MICE market. This is the identikit of the DeltaPo Family Destination Outlet, the first hub for retailtainment that has as its centre the Po Delta, one of the most enchanting and least touristically exploited areas of Italy.
The project, which should be inaugurated in Spring 2017, is also the first in Italy to receive the official Chinese qualification, Welcome Chinese, the public acknowledgement that permits only similarly certified facilities to be part of the Chinese market in a direct way through the support of the China Tourism Academy that supports the programme and offers particular benefits with the most important Chinese tour operators. Naturally, the aim is also that of conquering the fluxes from European countries such as France, UK, Austria, Russia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovenia.
The DeltaPo project, the “branding” of an area that extends from Venice to Ravenna, has been recently presented in Rome: with a 100% Italian capital investment, thanks to the activities of development by the DeltaPo Group who has already invested into the commercial facility 42 million Euros for a total that will be finished during the next biennial equal to 65 million, with an estimated annual turnover of about 50 million. 300-350 direct employees are expected to be hired during the first phase which will become 500 apart from the effect on the territory (hotels, restaurants, transportation, tourist guides and other). This new touristic-productive destination is an ideal destination for a “slow” experience: DeltaPo Family Destination Outlet will offer multiple services and activities: certainly shopping but also sports, culture with a visit to the Virtual interactive museum, tourism with one of the boats that dock directly behind the Outlet, in a dedicated berth and with visits to art cities such as Ferrara, Rovigo, Ravenna, Mantua, Verona and also Venice. Not to forget nature, considering the proximity with the entrance to the two Parks of the Delta (Venetian and Emilian), which makes the place absolutely unique, in an environmental and ecological aspect, also with a Unesco acknowledgement.
