Naples, the Museo Diocesano becomes a location for events: agreement signed with the local Convention Bureau
New opportunities are available for meeting planners and for companies who choose Naples as the setting for their events. The local Convention Bureau (CBN), infatti, signed an agreement protocol with the Museo Diocesano. The fascinating halls of the Monumental Complex of Donnaregina will enrich the CBN’s offer for organising meetings and conventions.
There’s more. The Museo Diocesano offers, in fact, a combination of events and cultural visits. Apart from the variety of the halls, it will also be possible to admire the fourteenth century Church of Donnaregina Vecchia, a unique jewel of Gothic art in Naples, together with various paintings by Luca Giordano or Aniello Falcone, Massimo Stazione or Francesco Solimena. All found in the historic centre, with an alternative fascinating location compared to other local conference centres. The aim is to create an efficient network for promotional initiatives and to develop common strategies to promote Naples as a conference destination.
“The Monumental Complex has various halls of varying dimensions, frescoed and evocative, that are perfect to host any kind of event – says Carmen de Rosa, Co-ordinator of the Monumental Complex – This awareness gave rise to the will to collaborate with the Convention Bureau Napoli. Our professionality comes with he intention of increasing the Meeting Industry and to improve the network of companies and professionals of the sector.”
Giovanna Lucherini, Director of the Convention Bureau Napoli declares: “The idea of increasing the number of partners joins the will to offer an ever increasing quality to the potential clients of the city. Naples, in fact, offers various alternatives for conferences, from the Città della Scienza to the Mostra d’Oltremare, with which we have already made agreements for collaboration. With the Museo Diocesano we offer a different products, that are not in competition, to be inserted in a wider integrated offer. The objective is to satisfy different kinds of needs bringing together conventions with culture, without having to move by a centimetre.”
