Pizza Experience: Pizzaiolo for a day. Teambuilding has its hands in the dough
Naples is an amazing city, it is culture, history and tradition. However, to the collective imagination – especially over seas – Naples is pizza. Therefore, to offer Italians and foreigners the opportunity to live a deeply Neapolitan moment, the Pizza Experience arrives in the city.
A workshop that, with a calendar that is rich in appointments, proposes to make participants live the experience of being a Neapolitan pizza chef for a day. The courses open to the public will be held in Italian, in English and in Neapolitan, a language that has been recognised as Unesco heritage. Throughout December the workshop “Look what a Pizza” will be held in the pizzeria of Rosario Piscopo, in the picturesque hill of Pizzofalcone. The pizza chef, instructor of the Assocazione Verace Pizza Napoletana during the two hours available will reveal all the secrets and tricks of the trade, showing participants the right technique, the selection of prime materials, the dough and the use of the wood oven. The workshop will end around a table to taste the pizzas created and delicious “Neapolitan fritters” accompanied by local wines.
The course will be repeated in 2017, as well as the workshop “Fatte ‘na Pizza” which on the other hand is held at La Pizzeria al 22 in the historic centre of Naples. An evocative location found in a historic street, the Pignasecca, the oldest market of Naples. During the “stage” both pizzerias – guided by very expert pizza chefs and by a very long tradition – will be closed to the public for service to allow an exclusive experience. Everyone will receiver a participation certificate, a personalised apron, a typical Neapolitan product and last but not least the Neapolitan energy and philosophy of life. The programme “Fatte na Pizza” lasts 4 hours, whereas “Guarda che Pizza” lasts 2 hours and a half.
This original activity can be also proposed to corporate teams: the organisation includes, in case of a booking for a group of 8/10 to a maximum of 24 participants, a 15% discount on the published rates. For larger groups and more complete programmes, even held over more days, personalised solutions and rates will be created.
