Two new Italian entries in Relais & Chateaux: in Puglia and in Piedmont two romantic locations perfect for weddings
There are 22 new entries in Relais & Chateaux announced in the occasion of the 42nd International Congress of Tokyo. Representing Italy are La Sommità di OStuni, boutique hotel in Puglia, and the Castello di Guarene, historic mansion overlooking the Langhe a few kilometres from Alba, both debuting in the circuit. In both cases there are locations of absolute charm, perfect even for incentives and high profile meetings but above all weddings of sure success.
The Sommità di Ostuni is a 5 stars in a 16th century building with a starred restaurant (the Cielo, under the management of chef Andrea Cannalire), having 15 rooms and suites each one different from the other, Spa and personalised services. In particular, the mansion is the ideal setting for weddings: apart from offering the opportunity of celebrating the civil rite in its spaces, La Sommità has many spaces full of charm. From its ancient halls to the Sala Camino, from the panoramic terraces to the Spanish garden, every corner of the Relais is the ideal setting for an event or a stylish wedding. The internal halls can host up to 70 people, whereas the external space, which include terraces and garden, can host up to 100 people.
The Castello di Guarene represents a fundamental stop in the Piedmontese Baroque itinerary, with a spectacular Spa with swimming dug out of the rocks and a sophisticated restaurant. It offers 12 rooms in a seventeenth century style but above all 15 noble halls, many of which with frescoes, a spectacular library and large gardens, that can be set up to satisfy any kind of party or wedding celebration.
