A stretch of coast wedged between the blue of the sky and sea, a string of spectacular little towns and ancient fishing villages welded like limpets to the rocks. The unforgettable Amalfi Coast.
Behind each and every bend in the road which snakes its way along the Amalfi Coast, one can discover a splendid view of the small towns, secluded bays, and deep gorges, for which this part of Italy is famous, awaits. Winding its way through a dramatically beautiful landscape of lush green Mediterranean flora and striking rock formations, this narrow coastal road leads to towns of world- wide fame such as Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, but also to lesser known, yet just as magical, places like Praiano, Atrani and Furore and on, further still, to Maiori, Minori, Vietri sul Mare, and Paestum, all of which gaze out across the Gulf of Salerno.

• Declared one of the UNESCO World Heritage
• Its sites are famous both for their undisputed beauty and the uniqueness of the natural landscape. The Amalfi Coast is characterized by contrast and contradiction, a perfect meeting point of mountain and sea, the farmer and the fisherman
• Gorgeous gardens, like Villa Cimbrone in Ravello
• Fresh fish and seafood
• Spectacular, stunning views from the towns

The closest airport is the Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport (QSR), about 30 miles around the coast, but the main airport is Naples International (NAP), which is 45 miles north of Amalfi. It has service to all points in Europe, although service for North American is more likely to come via Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which is another 140 miles to the north of Naples.
