Enit, agreement with Alibaba Group signed: incoming Made in Italy promotes in China

The aim, to promote the excellencies of the tourist sector Made in Italy in the Chinese market. Here are the requirements for the agreement protocol signed between Enit, the National Agency for Tourism, and Alibaba Group. The beauties and the artistic and natural riches of Italian tourism will thus be on show on Alitrip, the leading platform in the sector of online travel bookings and part of the ecosystem of Alibaba. 

The agreement represents a precious tool through which to increase the opportunities of travel and stay in Italy for Chinese visitors. The platform, used by over 50 million users in China, has more than 100 thousand merchants and operators of the sector that offer air tickets, hotel booking services, tourist guides and packages, for a total of over 2 million products. The agreement includes, among the many initiatives, the creation of an online Italian National Pavilion dedicated to Italian operators of the sector that can use this exclusive showcase and take advantage of the opportunities related to the expansion of Italian tourism for Chinese travellers.

The strategy of Enit includes, among its priorities, the increase of the average expenditure of foreign tourists in Italy, apart from the increase in the incoming volumes. The Chinese market represents an ideal potential to reach and realise these priorities.”
