Marriott and GoInStore: the inspection site is virtual and in real time
Partnership for MICE between European Convention Network and the technological start-up GoInStore. Event organisers now can have a virtual live tour of the locations for meetings and events available in 14 European hotels of the network, created by Marriott International.
The European Convention Network created with the aim of offering meeting planners an efficient, advantageous and complete service for the organisation of large events and conferences in Europe: the technological integration GoInStore allows to visualise beforehand the available spaces, improving the decision and booking process. Event managers of the hotel will be available to use the mobile and real-time technology of GoInStore and to conduct a personalised and interactive virtual tour using live video streaming and an audio channel to communicate with the client. Thanks to a simplified process, the technology allows access in real time to different location during the same session.
“We are delighted with the development made by the European Convention Network and its launch at the beginning of this year and we are excited of the exclusive collaboration with GoInStore, which allows us to strengthen our offer and differentiate from competition. Many of our clients plan great events once or twice a year in different European cities and are not able to visit all the locations in person. Thanks to our virtual tours they will be able to continue counting on a personal interaction benefitting at the same time of avantguarde technology, to make certain decisions in the choice of the location and the most efficient solutions for their events”, said Pauline Bronkhorst, Manager of the European Convention Network.
The conference hotels part of the network can host large groups and in total have 57,000 metres squared of spaces for events and 7,800 rooms. In this exclusive selection there is also an Italian: the Rome Marriott Park Hotel. The elegant Roman hotel is one of the largest congress centers in Europe: it offers in fact about 12,000 metres squared of event space, for a total of 40 rooms plus a further 40 breakout rooms, capable of hosting 7,000 delegates. Just as large is its reception, made of 601 rooms and suites.
